Vision: Embracing the existences of digital interactions.

Mission: The mission of Planetary Digital Peace movement is to build a peaceful and inclusive digital kingdom for all. The digital peace movement can achieve its mission by working to educate the people about the risks and benefits of digital technologies, advocating for policies and practices that promotes peace while also focusing on influencing behavior and sensibilities. Furthermore, supporting organizations that are working to make the digital kingdom a more inclusive and peaceful place.

Planetary Digital Peace finds inspiration in the movement through principle encompassing inner peace, the Bhagavad Gita, astute observation, Mahatma Gandhi's peaceful ideology, and ‘Just Peace’ concept by John Paul Lederach.

PDP aligns with the foundational principles upon which the UN was established, as outlined in the Preamble of the UN Charter which describes the four core areas that form the pillars of the UN's mission.

Planetary Digital Peace Day commences on 21st September, 2023.

Every year, PDP Day will be celebrated with International Peace Day.
